What is a sliding scale?

A sliding scale is a pricing system that varies based on people’s ability to pay. It starts with a reasonable regular price, in our case $30 for a ticket, and goes down to the minimum we would accept, $12.

So if you are a student or senior or are underemployed you get to choose any where in the middle that you feel you can afford. That way we remain more accessible. Cool idea, eh? A bunch of feminists thought it up and we have adopted it.

Please remember that this festival is committed to supporting artists.

And we feel artists are undervalued in our society.  So please pay as much as you can.
